Another Blogger Asks The Scott Jensen Question

July 17, 2007

I am not alone.  Another blogger is asking the same questions about Scott Jensen that I have.  Why is this convicted felon still not serving his time?

Zeke: By the way, I noticed it is coming up on 500 days since ‘Ol Scott has been convicted. Any plans for the 500th day anniversary? Have a barbecue, take the family to the Dells?

    Ferrell,

I appreciate your feedback. One of the greatest things about America is the right to voice our thoughts openly and without fear. I am glad you are a reader here, and a voice here too. Like you I look foward to 2008. I agree with you that this next election cycle will be mighty important. I think 1860 was the most important…but in modern times 2008 will be the most important.

Zeke: The only reason I can think why Scott Jensen has not reported to jail is that one of his lawyers is working on a technicality in the case. In Illinois our lovely ex-Governor George Ryan was convicted of a license for bribes scandal while he was Secretary of State. The jury found him guilty on all counts. They probably would have convicted him of shooting JFK if they could. But, one of his lawyers brought some kind of juror conflict of interest charge. It was something like a juror was the second cousin twice removed of his nephew’s classmate in college and so his case and conviction are now on appeal.

I will say this again, Scott Jensen needs to be a man and take his medicine. You have been found guilty by a jury of your peers. Start the jail time Scott.

On a side note, Zeke I know I have been hard on you during the last couple of months with our differing opinions. We may not agree on much but, I do know that the 2008 Presidential election maybe the most important in history. That I think we can agree on.
