I am glad that Barack Obama chose a highly skilled and tested inside the beltway player to oversee this highly important role. The levers of the Presidency are many, and any leader takes time to learn to use them all effectively. With Emanuel at his side, Barack Obama will have wise and sage advice. In addition Emanuel will being a political point of view that will sharpen the debate, and focus the policy goals of the Administration. Finally, Emanuel will have a great working relationship with key sources in Congress that will be essential for passage of bills.

Just more of the same we have had for years now. Nothing new, nothing changed, professional politicians who work for special interest instead of the people.
