Voter #57 On Madison Isthmus!
February 17, 2009
There are roughly 2,100 voters in my precinct located at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center on Madison’s Isthmus. Though I know this is a primary for the spring election, and turnout is always small, I was still rather stunned when I discovered that at 2:30 P.M. I was number 57! James was number 56. Is it any wonder that a poll worker’s best friend is often a book?

I voted early (just after 8:00 a.m.), and I was number 27 at the Warner Park Community Center. The poll workers all thanked me for voting and said they had just been talking amongst themselves for lack of anything else to do.
My wife and I were 63,64 after 7pm at Sherman school. Bad election planning IMO
