Saturday Song: Dave Edmunds “I Hear You Knocking”

While cleaning around the house yesterday I started singing a song I had not thought about for ages.  James asked me what I was singing, and I told him it was a song that we had in the 45 rpm pile back home when I was younger, and that my mom liked the song.  She always did her sprucing of the house on Fridays so to have everything done for the weekend, and that is what we do too.   She always made Monday wash days, but with the modern machines everyday can be wash day.  Hurray!  Anyway, it is amazing how music is the link to so many memories, and as such this weeks Saturday Song is Dave Edmunds performing  his classic  “I Hear You Knocking”
