Surfing On Lake Monona In Madison Sight To See
April 24, 2009
The winds that created white caps on Lake Monona Friday afternoon were not only fun to watch…..they were also fun to play in as demonstrated by a group of guys. Late in the afternoon as the winds were at their height two vans pulled up with guys dressed in wet suits. Off top of the vans came four surfboards. It was then that the fun started as the pictures show.

Thats whats its about , fun nomatter what. Rad DUDE!!!!
Cool pics from a fun session. The two guys pictured standing up and paddling are Scott Pauli and Jesse Kaftanski. These two boards are home made/garage built hollow wood surfboards/stand up paddle boards. Great for freshwater floating fun here in Wisconsin. Check out our website at http://www.walkonwatersurfboardsllc.com. Madison has a few “breaks” where you can find fun waves rolling on a windy day. See ya’ll at The Dairyland Surf Classic in Sheboygan, WI on Labor Day weekend.
