We wish him the best at this time.
U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd has been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer, the Hartford Courant reported today, citing an interview with the senator.
Dodd, a Connecticut Democrat, will undergo surgery next month followed by a “brief recuperation” at home, the newspaper said, quoting the lawmaker. He will appear at a news conference “to discuss a personal health issue” at 2 p.m. today in his Hartford office, according to a news release issued by his Washington office.
