Is Brett Favre A Drama Queen?
August 18, 2009
I know gay men that are far less dramatic on a regular basis than former Green Bay Packer Brett Favre. It does make one wonder what is going on in Brett’s tormented mind. Clearly he has some serious unresolved issues given his inability to make a decision, and stick with it.
Brett Favre, who only three weeks ago said he planned to remain retired, changed his mind yet again Tuesday, agreeing to join the Minnesota Vikings after all. It’s the second time in two years that Favre announced he was retired, only to reverse course soon after.

You can probably file this under the “Who gives a crap?” category.

he is a man w/ feallings leave him alone
He signs with the Vikings for two more years, and he winds taking them to 8 – 8 next season, the Vikings release him and he retires finally at the age of 73.
I have thought about that and know whatever any of us think is the logical route Favre will take another path and do so in some highly drawn out process…….
So, at the end of the day I think he comes back for another season with the Vikings.
And your thoughts?
Deke: Time to take bets on what the “Drama Queen” will do next?
Lynn: All due respect, but the Oakland Raiders have the worst fans. Went to a game out in Oakland 10 years ago to see them play the Bears and I had a beer thrown at me for wearing a Bears cap.
There are fans for the local football team and there are certifiable lunatics.
Oakland Raiders fans are certifiable.
Brett Favre, What’s he going to do when he grows up? I’ll admit he is a great football player. There is more to that story. Green bay fans loved Favre, he was a hero to all who watched his career. And now he has betrayed his packer fans, playing for a team who has the rudest fans on the planet, just to despise Ted Thompson who made a decision Brett didn’t like. Must be nice not to have to work out like the rest of the team because you’re so cool.It will be a cold day in hell when and if they retire his jersey. My number 4 jersey just went to the thrift store.
It’s sad when pro athletes just don’t know when it’s time to go…Brett is arguably one of the best to ever play the game.
But, I have to agree about the attitude thing. Why couldn’t he just leave, while he was at the top of his game…? Based on last years “comeback”, I think he should gotten a clue…What’s even more unbelieveable, is that the Vikings are willing to put up with all the drama…Hey, I may be wrong, and if they go to the Super Bowl, I’ll have to admit that they saw something I didn’t…Based on real numbers, his age, and physical condition,…well…you get the picture…Some poor “would have been the starter” QB will probably have to sit…again…and wait for next years “drama”…
Isn’t Favre old enough to be a real viking?
No, actually I think he is acting like a toddler. So, I think he should be treated like my three year old daughter when she takes her brother’s toy motorcycle away to play with – we give her a time out.
Only Brett Favre’s “time out” from the NFL would be for the rest of his life.
