Sunday Echoes: Totie Fields

As a teenager I recall the humor of Totie Fields made me laugh heartily every time I saw her.  She might show up on with Mike Douglas or on a game show, but regardless of where she was smiles followed.  Her great ability was that she poked fun at herself and in so doing was able to bring the house down with laugher.   From The Jerry Lewis Labor Telethon comes this classic moment that I suspect many of us recall watching when it originally aired.
