Squirrels Caught In The Act
Your honor, I offer into evidence Exhibit A……
The holiday season has slowed everything down for many of us. One of the pleasures that we have enjoyed the past days as we laze around at home is the feeding frenzy that appears as soon as we put new bird seed out in the feeders, or some old bread scattered about the snow. The antics of those who come here for food, and the smiles they create are always appreciated. This morning there was an abundance of birds from morning doves to bright red cardinals. The doves always seem more interested in sitting on top of one of our feeders to get some sun in an attempt to warm up rather than eat from the ground where the seed falls as the result of the smaller birds kicking it about from above.

Your Honor:
If it pleases the court I’d plead the 5th, if I hadn’t already entered an insanity plea!
One has to be “nuts” to keep climbing up the skinny pole in winter.
