Abortion Hypocrisy Republican Style
I think one point has been missed in all the back-and-forth regarding the “baby-killer” slur that was hurled last night on the floor of the House of Representatives. The Republican Party pretends to be ‘pro-life’ and the classless Congressman Randy Neugebauer wants everyone to know that he believes in the sanctity of life.
To that I that B.S.
Randy Neugebauer comes from Texas.
Need I say more?
Texas leads the nation in executions. In fact, in the past 30 years Texas has killed 450 people.
So when we hear these conservatives, Republicans, and Texans shouting their self-serving political bull-crap we all know that is just posturing. They have no more concern about protecting life than they do in protecting the right of Americans to have affordable health care.

I think it is most appropriate to hold the Congressman from Texas to account. The entire state of Texas needs to held accountable for the murder by the state. Be mindful this Congressmand and others might feel the nation needs to be held accountable regarding abortion. If one is for the sanctity of life such as the the one in question here, than there can be no dicing of the issue. Therefore the death penalty matter needs to be addressed with as much outrage as the abortion issue. There are death penalty questions in Texas now and yet have we heard Neugebauer scream anywhere about life except at a pro-life Democrat? Might Neugebauer he more interested in politics than the ‘pro-life stand he purports to hold?
So since I’m a woman from and in Wisconsin, my morals on abortion would be considered valid in comparison to a man in Texas? Your angle on discrediting the person’s outburst is poorly thought out. While shouting “baby killer” is not appropriate, pointing to a person’s home state to discredit a person is not appropriate either.
noh8: I thought the main way we measure life is with a heartbeat. When it stops…you are dead. Without it, you are not alive. Since when has the passage through a birth canal or the plucking from a womb via C-section become the definition of life? According to your logic to cease to live would require something like being shoved back into one’s mother to become “unborn”.

Please stop with the whole “baby-killer’ rhetoric. A baby’s not a baby till it’s born. That’s just common sense. Logic.
The “life or the unborn” is an oxymoron. And for every verse you find in the Bible to support your position, I can find one to support mine.

Those who spout the sanctity of life line have to either walk the talk or be called on the carpet for hypocrisy. Which I did.
While I disagree with the death penalty lets see if we can look at facts, those people who were put to death in Texas had taken another life, they BROKE the law, they were guilty of a crime.
The baby who is being killed by no choice supporters, all they are trying to do is continue the life that God granted them.
