They Want To Wage War On America

March 29, 2010

White and heavily armed.  And ‘Christian’.

It is not like the federal government did not warn the country that there were lots of these types running around.  And yet when we pull them out from under the rocks…well in this case trailer homes…….we are still stunned by the lack of regard these uneducated and despicable white trash types have for humanity.  But thank God they had their Second Amendment rights to gather arms.  Weapons I might add that could have delivered many a police officer to a coffin had they enacted their plot.  Might there be a problem with how many, and how often weapons can be bought and kept in this nation?  Do these horrible acts have to be carried out before the light is seen about the dangers in front of out eyes?

They had plans to kill a local law enforcement official and, once officers from across the country came to the funeral, to attack the funeral procession, the indictment alleges.

“This is an example of radical and extremist fringe groups which can be found throughout our society,” said Andrew Arena, FBI special agent in charge. “The FBI takes such extremist groups seriously, especially those who would target innocent citizens and the law enforcement officers who protect the citizens of the United States.”

The eight men and one woman are members of the Hutaree, identified as an “anti-government extremist organization” in the indictment, and each faces three to five charges, including sedition, attempts to use weapons of mass destruction, teaching/demonstrating use of explosive materials and two counts of carrying weapons in relation to a crime of violence.

The Adrian-based group has said it is training in modern combat techniques for a prophesized battle with the anti-Christ.

WACKO!

While training, Hutaree members reportedly wear tiger-stripe camouflage uniforms, with shoulder patches bearing a black cross, two brown vertical pillars that form the letter “H.” All part, it seems, of “Preparing for the end time battles to keep the testimony of Jesus Christ alive,” as a slogan on the Hutaree’s website declares (it has a background of military fatigue). A photo on the site shows 18 men holding rilfes in a wooded area. There’s also a two-minute YouTube video showing men running through woods, wearing fatigues, shooting rifles.

The family members who made it into the courtroom gave the impression that Hutaree was more rag-tag than a fearsome killing machine. Brittany Byrant, 18, the fiance of Stone’s son David Jr., said the FBI was gruff during the raid, pointing guns to her head and ordering her to put her six-month old child on the floor. “He wasn’t racist,” Bryant said of her fiance, as she sat in the last row of the courtroom. “I have friends who are Arabic and colored, and David didn’t care.” Next to her was Donna Stone, the elder man’s former wife and the mother of David Jr. She said her ex-husband lived in two single trailers — “a hillbilly double-wide” — and related how he tried to recruit her into the Hutaree, saying, “‘You pray as a family, you stay together as a family.’” She added: “Once he got into the big guns, I said, ‘No.’” She left him.

Still, the Hutaree are a symptom of the continuing militia phenomenon, one that seems to have gained impetus since the election of Barack Obama as the first African-American President of the U.S. The Southern Poverty Law Center says that last year alone, the number of patriot and militia groups increased 244%, to 512. Though not necessarily racist, such groups fiercely oppose the federal government. In recent weeks, the health care debate seems to have fueled anti-government sentiment that is far different from the last noticeable rise in extremist group activity, after the 1992 election of Bill Clinton. “These shifts are a little more than some people can take,” says Heidi Beirich, the Southern Poverty Law Center’s director of research.

here is a shocker Deke, but I am glad they were arrested, I do not support any type of militia group, I find them to be a major risk to this country just as I see Islamic terrorists a risk to this country, and that does not include all Muslims like the libs accuse conservatives of doing.

    GB,

According to federal prosecutors, the Hutaree, and the word is not in any dictionary, but on the Web site for the group, claims it means “Christian warrior”. The press have a right to label them as they have.

Why is it so hard for some to admit this group was insane? And Christian? I have never allowed my kids to get mixed up in religion and I have again been proved correct.

No, you are wrong on several counts.

Might I first say it would be shocking to me if you were not sticking up the for the wrong people. When you say “actually DOES SOMETHING AWFUL” as if the planning for the slaughter of cops is not in and of itself bad enough. You have made the case against yourself better than I ever could.

Second, by the very nature of your comments both in style and word choice you have made this a racist and bigoted issue for yourself.

Third, the people at the very heart of this story call themselves Christian and their website adds the milita aspect all over the place. I am sure you have seen their own video that underscores what they are, and what they were hoping to lure others into. Therefore there is no liberal or conservative slant to the story. The news reporters are calling this A) what it is, and B) how the people who are now arrested call themselves.

    A lot to grasp I know……

Whether you care to admit it or not the liberal press go out of their way to make sure you know it was a “Christian Militia” that was arrested but when a Muslim terrorist actually DOES SOMETHING AWFUL here like for example the attack & killings in San Antonio, they don’t mention it as a terrorist act & surely don’t mention that he’s a “RELIGIOUS MUSLIM TERRORIST” because this administration and media does not want to upset Muslims. Facts are facts Deke even if you want to ignore them.

I also add since you commented so stupidly that on their own web site members of this group call themselves Christian soldiers arming themselves for the coming of the Antichrist.

So take that broadbrush idea and put it with every other wrong idea you have.

  9. March 30, 2010 6:49 AM

You say that based on your own racist attitudes.

I love the media in this country, they won’t use radical Islam to describe terrorist because it offends Muslims but the have no problem with the broadbrush usage of Christian militia
