Sunday Echoes: Don Knotts As Barney Fife

Late at night there is nothing better than to pull out an old recording of the antics of Barney Fife as played so well by the incredibly talented Don Knotts.  No matter how many times these episodes are watched there is a freshness to the comedy.  That is the result of the skilled comedy acting of Knotts.  I never thought Knotts was honored in the way he should have been during his lifetime, given his abilities.  The fact his work is still appreciated and used as a way to wind down after a long day underscores his impact.
