Illinois GOP Senate Candidate Mark Kirk Has No Credibility

June 19, 2010

How does one begin to tell this story?

Mark Kirk, the GOP nominee for Senate in Illinois, claimed a military award for himself that actually belonged to his unit (among the factors he blamed were his busy schedule and the political environment), said Iraqis were ‘shooting at’ his plane when he meant that he had been illuminated by air defense, and FORGOT that the Pentagon had disciplined him for political activity during active duty.  Now a leader of the church in upstate New York where Representative Mark Kirk of Illinois claims he worked as a nursery school teacher said on Friday that he had overstated his role there.

Sounds like there might be need for a little therapy in Mark Kirk’s future.  Maybe he has a complex over a father he could not live up to, or a lack of self-confidence that makes him feel he needs to embellish.  Whatever the case may be there is little to inspire the voters of Illinois to vote for him.  Time for the GOP to pull back, and either somehow get another name on the ballot this fall, or count this race as another loss.

AS opposed to Alex Ginnoulas who had a hand in bankrupting his Family’s bank and gave money to Tony Rezko.

Look if it were to me, it should be decided that both candidates are utter imbeciles and there would be another primary with a new slate of candidiates for both parties.
