June 29, 2010
Just a few questions that say as much as they ask.
Is there anyone anywhere cheering what is happening to WGN radio?
Is there one article in support in Chicago papers of the actions taken by WGN radio?
Have listeners spread the word to friends and neighbors to tune in and hear……?
The obvious answer is NO!

What a sad state of affairs. Again…Jim Lansky is on alllll day…no one else can work? What have they done to Steve Cochran..where is he…and now poor Nick D is hosting a “best of Gary Meier? What in heavens name is happening. This radio station has been in our family for years…I moved away and came back and WGN was on 24/7…and now…we have to wait for Lou on Saturdays, Rick on Sundays…..what has happened…why…
There will never be an answer to these questions….They think they have it right. And all they have is CRAP CRAP CRAP… I can’t listen to anything but Lou, on Satturday. The Lutheran Hour and Rick on Sunday’s What a shame. WGN used to be my life on the radio. Now it’s just crap, crap, crap………….
In answer to some of your questions:
“Is there anyone anywhere cheering what is happening to WGN radio?”
Yes – the families of Garry Meier, John Williams and the felon they hired.
Competitors.
The Pig Virus Guy.
Howard Stern – actually he is probably not cheering, but more like laughing his ass off.
“Is there one article in support in Chicago papers of the actions taken by WGN radio?”
No – not in the Chicago Papers necessarily. Maybe the WGN Company Newsletter – that is sort of like a Chicago Paper. At least it is printed in Chicago.
“So the reason to undermine the station was………..?”
I will leave this answer to Kevin Metheny. “We like to see things blow up REAL BIG!!!”
Hopefully that will answer your questions.
