Sunday Echoes: Skylab

If the Apollo missions to the moon in the 1960′s made the heart leap, then Skylab made the mind soar in 1973.  I was 11 years old when Skylab was launched, and I still recall the amazing feeling inside that people might live in space.  Being a kid during this phase of NASA’s robust and energized research and launches was truly thrilling.
