Republicans And The Books They Read

This week’s forum with the people wishing to become the next chairperson of the Republican National Committee produced funny moments.  One of the last questions was to name their favorite book.  What passes for reading from this group amused me.  But perhaps the craziest response was from the current Chairman Michael Steele  who mentions War and Peace…but then quotes a line from  A Tale of Two Cities.

As I said this is just amusing.  Not as funny as President Bush telling Brian Willaims he had read “three Shakespeares”, but close.
