ATTENTION SHOPPERS: ARE YOU SUPPORTING SCOTT WALKER!!??
You may have helped finance Scott Walker’s attack on public employees!
Now is the time to stop and let those companies and merchants supporting Scott Walker know that you will no longer help them attack you, your family and friends. Here is where we can fight on the home front in Wisconsin.
Profits are what is important to these people, let’s cut their profits and their ability to finance Scott Walker.
What’s on your grill?
Ralph C. Stayer, president of Johnsonville Foods, and his sister Launa Stayer and the Johnsonville staff are major contributors to Scott Walker having donated over $44,000 to Scott Walker! See it for yourself.
You can contact Johnsonville Foods and tell them that you will not buy their products until they stand up for the working men and women in Wisconsin. Also, let your grocer know that you will no longer buy Johnsonville products.
Copps grocery stores are featuring Johnsonville brats this week, let Copps know why you no longer purchase Johnsonville brats and ask them to stop selling Johnsonville brats: 1-800-353-4357.
Sargento: The cheese to cut off of your menu!
The Gentine family, owners of Sargento Cheese, and their employees are also big contributors to Scott Walker — over $30,000. See here:
Look were else the Sargento Cheese profits are going, even to Michelle Bauchman!
Here is how to contact Sargento:
Madison and Wauwatosa Area Shoppers – Look what popular grocers are Walker supporters!
Here are the totals for Metcalfe dollars to Scott Walker.
contact Metcalfe Sentry Foods….
or email Tim Metcalfe at asktim@shopmetcalfes.com
Tim Metcalfe has stated that he contributes to both sides, but he and his company do not make political statements – a large campaign contribution is a political statement and business people contribute to both sides to buy influence – so cash in and use it Tim!
And, we can write our own checks to charities in our community. We don’t need Metcalfe’s Brat Days, which features Johnsonville brats, to help charities if he won ‘t help us.

Kendall,
You are kidding me, right?
Let me be clear in stating that anytime money flows to a candidate it is an endorsement of the message and issues of that candidate. Or are you saying that Zimbrick plays the field and contributes to all candidates and has no foundation other than to be cozy with anyone who wins?
If that is your message, and that is to make me feel better…..well, you are kidding me, right?
In other words you are saying Zimbrick is either not understanding politics and the message that campaign money sends, or the company has no convictions and is a political whore.
If Zimbrick wants to denounce Walker’s anti-union message….you can write the post yourself….and it will be featured on CP.
I mean it….readers will know you made the correct move for the company and the people of this state.
Or does the campaign cash mean what I think it does.
I’m confused and concerned ab0ut Zimbrick Auto’s appearance here. You provide a link to contact “Zimbrick Auto and tell them you are are pleased with their actions” and show that John Zimbrick gave Walker $300.
It appears John W. Zimbrick contributed $500 to both Feingold’s and Walls’ campaigns. He also contributed $300 to both Walker’s and Barrett’s campaigns. I think the conclusion one might draw from this is he is interested in supporting political campaigns in a general, non-partisan way. The only oddity I see is his support of Walls, whom did not win the primary. He has also been a big contributor to National Auto Dealer’s Association or it’s political action arm, Dealers Election Action Committee to the tune of $2,500 in Nov. 09 and again in May 10. I can’t find information about NADA’s political activities. There are other Zimbricks (Michael and a number of others) who appear to contribute more to Democratic or moderate Republican (Thompson in particular) campaigns. I don’t know whom among them are connected with Zimbrick Auto.
I don’t think the Zimbrick name should appear here at all without further evidence of political bias firmly connected to the dealership.
Best Regards,
Kendall Hallett
I would leave a longer comment, but I have to run out and grab some brats and cheese….
Carson Noma – the listing is not anyone’s home address or home phone numbers, these are business phone numbers, addresses and websites for customer comment!! Go ahead, call the state employees at their jobs!
How about Wisconsin Dells waterparks and other tourism operators? Can you tell us which ones we may want to support?
Can you verify whether the owners of Sendik’s grocery stories in the Milwaukee area are Walker contributors and put that information on your site? I believe they are. A number of Balistreri family members, who list Sendik’s as their employer, donated money to the Walker campaign. (Sendik’s commercials always mention they are owned and operated by the Balistreri family) Thanks!
I’ve emailed back and forth with Tim Metcalfe a couple times. His basic response is that he contributes to brothels on boths sides of the aisle, and has no influence. WOW! Revision to Economics 101, astute bidnessmen give thousands of dollars to politicians for kicks, with no access or expectations! Good Government. You know Tim, If you said “I support Scott Walker not only balancing the budget on your back because you made the mistake of working for the state, but my buddies the roadbuilders will get theirs, and the others will get their tax breaks” I could at least respect you for being a corporate welfareist. Instead, you’re a liar. If Brandon Schultz of the Wis. Grocer’s Assn. sent an urgent action alert saying “stop oppressive government actions to stop selling whatever” you’d have Walker on the phone in a minute. “But I have not influence or political influence.” BS
and carcinoma (you couldn’t have picked a better nom de plume – oh and for Quinn, that’s an idiom, and I’m not mispelling calling you an idiot ), I noticed business if anyone contributes money to a candidate, as your well oiled and bought supreme court has ruled, it’s speech, and people, until your side gains complete control, have the right to speak back and tell them they’re making a decision they disagree with: free spending = free speech (according to Roberts) = freedom of assembly to disagree. Where did you see the home addresses of the business people? straw man much?!
Well, now I know exactly which businesses I will be supporting! Thanks!
Would it fair then to start naming and listing home addresses of State Union employees? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Thank you for this list I will be sure to share with everyone so the know who to thank for supporting Mr Waker and bringing common sense back to this state.
