Huge Turnout Predicted For Spring Election In Madison, Absentee Voters Leading The Way
March 26, 2011
Hat Tip To Rolf.
Everyone is talking of the impact the collective bargaining issue will have on the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race. Will there be a heavy vote from places likes Madison that will make a statewide difference. Will David Prosser feel the wrath of voters who are upset with Governor Walker?
Time will tell.
But if the news from the Madison City Clerk’s Office is any indicator, there is a political storm brewing that is headed directly for David Prosser.
The City Clerk’s Office has seen an exceptionally large number of absentee voters for the upcoming spring election. We have ordered more ballots for election day based on the interest in absentee voting. We will have more absentee voters at our front counter for this election than we had for the 2008 Presidential Primary.
