A rare October hailstorm made for some excitement in parts of Wisconsin last night. Quarter-to-half-inch hail fell in parts of Waushara, Juneau, Adams, and Grant counties. An Adams County sheriff’s deputy said hail covered the ground for a time near Cottonville.
