Erik Larson Can Have Wonderful Dinner At Our Home Anytime He Is In Madison

December 18, 2011

Readers know that I love Erik Larson’s style of writing.  Each time I pick up one his works the strong narrative with a powerful historical plot carries me on page after page.  I have never not wanted one of his books to go on and on and…..

Today one of the more pleasurable reads in the local paper was the column by Doug Moe that told of Erik Larson doing some of his research for his latest book, “In the Garden of Beasts,”  in Madison.

It was also noted that Larson is slated to return at some point to Madison for more research on still another book.

I know that research projects make for long days, along with an over-powering appetite.  Therefore I would like to invite Erik Larson for an evening of exceptional cooking (James mastered a number of cooking skills when studying in France) along with spirited conversation, and all contained in a relaxing old Victorian on Madison’s isthmus overlooking the lake.

Just let me know what time you like dinner served.

Sincerely,

A fellow history buff and loyal reader.
