Was Rick Perry Trying To Ward Off Evil After Monday’s Debate?

January 16, 2012

The crowd assembled for the Republican presidential debate Monday night was more suited for a hockey game than a public policy back-and-forth among those who wish to be the party’s nominee.  So I understand any move one of the candidates might take to remain safe from the hyper-partisan crowd.

But there remains one image of Rick Perry following the debate that strikes me as funny, given his heightened use of Christianity, at least for political purposes.  Does it not appear that Perry is trying to ward off evil or a hex from someone given how his fingers are posed?

If Rick Perry starts handling a serpent at Thursday nights CNN debate we will know the answer for sure.

Apparently nobody really cares too much to watch the debates between all these candidates.
I just think folks are fed up and this National vote will be the most polarized vote this country ever had.

It’s going to be split regardless of who runs, right down the middle between those who’s vote Democrat and those who vote Republician. And I believe, without too much thought that ‘kids’ [that be us] are going to vote for the same party that their parents voted for.

Last presidential election, the spit was 53% for Democrats and 47% Republicans.

Who ever wins it will be just a few percent.

Craig skip Weis. Sounds like I’m stating the obvious.

Devil be darned, I’d say that Rick Perry shall be returning home soon, but I do like the way Perry stays on message.

I’m thinking after the election that Perry will be appointed in some cabinet by a new president, as I believe Perry is good, on an even keel, and a fair man who doesn’t have the ‘Fang Power’, or that killer instinct necessary to become a viable nominee for president of the United States.

My family always said, “a little religion is good” and helps in guidance. However one can say that more people through out history have died in the name of religion than anyother cause known to man. And then a heavy dose of oppressive religion dose nobody any good.

As far as this notion of –>public policy back-and-forth<– it is too early to define public policy within the frame work of these debates. That's not what the debates are for. People don't care about that sort of thing now. After the election it'll be 'THE ECONOMY'. And once the economy is straightened out, and money starts to flow, than all this nit~picky little stuff will fall into place.

The ONLY thing that matters is which fellow here is going to defeat the standing president.
Once were in office then we'll work on adjusting the current public policy.

'And that's how skip sees it.' To steal a line from Glee.
