Same Sex Scandal Rocks Florida Politics, Is GOP Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll A Lesbian?
Even good Republican families have gay folks.
For pure humor I offer the following nugget from the one at the center of the sex scandal.

Is she kidding me with that line of malarkey?
Florida Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll is denying allegations that she was reportedly romantically involved with a female aide.
In a court filing, a former aide to Carroll says she walked in on the lieutenant governor and another aide in a quote “compromising position.”
“It’s not just a one person issue attacking, it’s an entire family. My husband doesn’t want to hear that,” said Carroll. “I’m the one that’s married for 29 years, the accuser is the one that’s single for a long time, so, usually black women that look like me don’t engage in relationships like that.”
Florida’s Lieutenant Governor is being asked to take a lie-detector test in connection with a criminal case of one of her former employees, according to wjhg.com .
The former employee, who made salacious allegations against Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll, also claims that she was the target of a fire started at the state Capitol.
Beatriz Ramos, a travel aide for Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll, admitted to starting a fire that could have set the state Capitol ablaze. Ramos is also accused of carrying on an inappropriate relationship with Carroll.
The allegations are all part of a court filing in the case of Carletha Cole. Cole is a former web designer for Carroll who was fired for telling reporters the office was in disarray.
She sounds like a jerk. but that only supports my belief that it takes a straight Republican to say something that stupid. It’s a stupid kind of babbling that seems essentially different than the “Wide Stance” babbling of yore.
If she seems nervous and off her game I’d guess it’s because being whispered about possible Lesbiating While Republican at this point in history is probably not a good thing. It may not be guilt in her heart so much as raw fear of the Westboro Baptist Church.
personal note: I’m always annoyed when i hear LGBT+ persons talking about their “Gay-dar”, and applying it to people who are presumed straight or indifferent. They’re not mind-readers for pete’s sake and more likely than anything else to just be over-interpreting idiosyncratic traits. You can’t run it both ways, beefy football players sure as heck can be gay and willowy fashion designers sure as heck can be straight. Specifically, my gay cousins and their posse loved to hen-cluck about their stupid Gaydars. I was sure some of their “victims” WERE NOT GAY and would argue it. but who listens when you’ve got possession of Scientific Data from an official GayDar Printout…..Laaaaaaaaaaaaame.
