BREAKING NEWS: Massive Shooting In Milwaukee, NRA Supporters Should Pay Funeral Costs
Once again gun violence makes for headlines.
Deadly headlines.
Bloody headlines.
If you are not working for gun control than you are part of the reason these headlines continue to be created.
One can read almost daily about shootings in Milwaukee, and the carnage it leaves behind. Today a gun broke the Sunday morning calm and will create bold headlines. But the deaths from today are just as sad as the single shots that claim victims every day of the week in this nation. There is now a sense of this crap becoming ‘normal’ and typical. The NRA wants you to think of these shootings as more reasons why all should be armed with more guns in circulation.
If you fall for that line of crap I feel sorry for you.
If you subscribe to that line of thinking from the NRA you need to open your wallets and help pay for the funeral costs for these families. Idiots who help foster more of this bloodshed by championing the NRA line of ‘thinking’ should not be sheltered from helping to defray the costs to society of having too many guns in circulation.
Now to the body count from Milwaukee’s deadly shooting.
Police in Oak Creek have said that six people have been killed by one or more gunmen at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin shortly after 10:15 a.m. Sunday. A gunman has also been killed by a police officer.
Police have said they do not know if there are still “active shooters” at the temple.
According to police spokesman Bradley Wentlandt, “The emergency medical personnel, the tactical personnel who have gone through the scene, they have initially identified what they believe to be four deceased inside the temple, and three deceased outside the temple, one of whom is the shooter.”
Wentlandt earlier had said, “An officer arrived on scene. He engaged an active shooter. The officer was shot multiple times. He has been transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The shooter was put down.”
Froederdt Hospital spokeswoman Carolyn Bellin says the three victims of the shooting in suburban Oak Creek are all men and are all in critical condition. Two of the men had gunshot wounds to the face. She did not have their identities.
Belliin says one of the men is in the operating room, another is in a surgical intensive care unit and the third is being evaluated in the emergency room.

I have always had GOP friends, had more close GOP pals at the statehouse than Democratic ones…have always read the OP-Ed page of the Wall Street Journal as well as that of The New York Times…and the list goes on and on.
What I do not cotton to is mouthing the words that are pure pablum so others are made to feel comfortable. On MY blog there is no doubt about where I stand, or how I define the issue.
As to your off-the-reservation remark about me not having conections to other points of view—wow–you really do not know me.
From a June 2010 posting……about my days at WDOr….this afternoon I again thought of Ed Allen, Jr., general manager of WDOR, who took a chance on me. I have never stopped being grateful for his choice of hiring me for part of his on-air talent. He will never know how pivitol he was to my life, and how much I appreciate him. Readers might also be interested in knowing for a time Ed Allen was the Door County Republican Party Chairperson. Ed and I had great conversations on Saturday mornings when he would come to the station to do some work, and never failed to stop in the studio to banter about the headlines of the day. We had more in common, we both found out, than what separated us politically.

Within the tiny “blogging community” there is far more approval and support for driving people away and doling out insults and brain stem dogmatism than in understanding, listening or any semblance of intellectual exploration.
this crappy attitude acts like a mirror, reflecting back the worst aspects of the Democrats to the Democrats themselves. I’d say it wasn’t a problem since so few “regular” people read the blogs, but the problem is the media, in it’s infinite laziness, does read them. That’s the only value of the blogs – that the media vastly over values them as social influences. That is the only thing that creates the influence – the false belief of the print media.
blogs are not like talk radio, they don’t reach the masses, only the party suck-butts and the paid journalists look at them. it’s a self-reinforcing feedback loop of crap. it is not moving humanity forward, in fact it is highly destructive, and just as anti-intellectual as anything a dinosaur-riding republican could come up with. and you devote your life to it.
crime will go up when stress goes up when the economy sucks and people are desolate, hopeless and trapped (CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!!! si se puede!!!), so does domestic violence and all kinds of stuff. alcoholism, drug use. lots of stuff. people are scared, desperate and hopeless.
yup, society shreds under these circumstances. real mysterious, ain’t it.
If democrats would actually work for the dirty masses instead of shucking and jiving and weaving an bobbing and looking the other way over SERIOUS SERIOUS high-level crimes, and making as much insider cash as possible, the world might be a better place over all.
The President of the United States can’t or won’t stand up to a couple of creepy brothers named Charles and David. The biggest pile of nickel and dime small-guy donations in the history of the world didn’t amount to a hill of guano. The little guy/working class is worse off than before. And all indications are we should expect worse, and worse and worse.
Think about that for a minute. Or is it just easier to throw every crime out as Red Herring distraction for what the “opposition party” is not opposing.
