This Is A Statement!

This is the type of political trivia I like to store away for a rainy day.

In Florida there are 22 major daily newspapers.  This is also the time when newspapers make endorsements in time for the election on everything from the local sheriff to school district referendums.  And they also make endorsements on the races for federal office seekers.

In Florida all 22 papers have made an endorsement for United States Senate.  The Republican nominee, Katherine Harris, which the Bush family, along with the entire national Republican Party tried to prevent from running, received ZERO endorsements.  ZERO!  NONE of the dailies endorsed her.  All 22 newspapers across Florida endorsed the Democratic incumbent, Senator Bill Nelson.

I wonder if she now regrets saying that the Founding Fathers never meant our nation to be ruled by secular laws.  What backwoods tarpapered shack did she get her education from? I wonder how large a ballroom for Election Night Harris thinks she might need at this point in her glorious campaign?

Bet that ole Congressional seat doesn’t look so bad…..

So you agree then that America was founded on God’s law, thanks for that endorsment.

  2. I know some theocracies you would be real happy in.

I thought you respected our troops in other lands setting up democratic forms of government, and now you infer that you are against the hard work our troops are doing.  I think you should say you are sorry for the slur you made on the troops.   I bet they love secular laws!  Man, you really are not very patriotic.
