Cheap Politics By Mitt Romney Over ‘Person Of The Year’

Everyone knows that Time Magazine selects a person from around a long list of newsmakers that has changed the world in the past year.  Anyone who has lived for any length of time, and ever read Time magazine, knows the selection is not one based on morality, but the newsmakers role in the real world in which we all live.

Everyone knows that….except Mitt Romney.

His response to Russian President Putin being selected as Time’s ‘Person Of The Year’ is laughable for its shameless political pandering to simple minded voters.

“You know, he imprisoned his political opponents. There have been a number of highly suspicious murders,” Romney said on Beck’s radio show. “He has squelched public dissent and free press. And to suggest that someone like that is the Man of the Year is really disgusting. I’m just appalled.”

And I am appalled how idiotic Romney actually can be.

  1. Perhaps he thinks their criteria is goofy….

Nothing wrong as far as I am concerned with offering condemnation of someone like Putin.

Funny you are more outraged over Romney’s actions than Putins.

    Typical lefty hate.

  2. No Fred!

Turning a journalistic tradition into a partsan rant is wrong. For petes sake no one is praising the President Of Russia, but to say that understanding the role of the free press to make a choice is ‘lefty hate’ is absurd!
