Is channel 3 a Fox News station? Is Greg Humphrey any relation to Hubert Humphrey? How about a John McCain-Colin Powell ticket?

I am actually…..many cousins removed….related to Hubert Humphrey. Not close enough to be invited to the funeral or such however.

At times I will give my last name, and when asked to spell it, say “Humphrey…..like Hubert” and younger people are totally confused.

Hubert was a good guy. What I want to know is when will somebody run a retort to McCain’s ads. First there is the terrible one when he says he is against war with a number of disjoined statements. They should juxtapose that with the bomb Iran statement he made. Then there is the one showing him with the wind power he voted against and finally he steals a line from JFK – we do not do these things because they are easy, but because they are hard – how dare he steal that like he wrote it.

That’s my rant for the day. Anyway Greg can run for pres if he likes.

In order for this to happen, GH would have to get over the notion that a car is not a truck and that tightening the helmet on some days will not solve the world’s problems.

Other than these two glitches, GH would make a hell of a Pres. After all, the office of Pres. is a “no experience necessary” type of position and on the job training optional.[ie. fly in a military plane or spend time in Hanoy Hilton].

Why not? Our HR Mgr. worked with Hubert & said that he was an outstanding man & would have made an excellent president. You could also, parlaying your experience on the hill to really benefit the people. Do you have real ambitions?
