Mother of Sarah Palin Daughter’s Boyfriend Arrested

December 19, 2008

Bristol Palin Gives Birth….Click Here

Sarah Palin is the gift that keeps on giving.

Hat tip to Marion in Maine for tipping me off on this nugget.

Before you read about the drug arrest you should know that the baby of the unwed teenage mother is due on Saturday.  The actual wedding for the two teenage drop-outs is slated for summer.  Gosh, all this must make for such a proud moment in the Sarah Palin household.

Pictured above is the soon-to-be future in law, Sherry Johnston, who was arrested on drug charges.

Today the redneck Palin family has news of the drug arrest of the mother of the son that is to marry the pregnant teenage daughter of the woman that hoped to the Vice-President.  Twisted plots that only come  from folks like Sarah Palin and her white-trash family make for late night comedy jokes, and fodder for bloggers.

The whole Sarah Palin clan, seem to be nothing but bad examples and personality disorders.

Alaska state troopers have arrested the mother of Bristol Palin’s boyfriend on drug charges.

Sherry L. Johnston was arrested Thursday after troopers served a search warrant on a Wasilla home. The 42-year-old Johnston has been charged with six felony drug counts.

Troopers did not identify the drug involved in a brief mention on the agency’s Web site.

Johnston is the mother of 18-year-old Levi Johnston. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP nominee for vice president, announced in September that her 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, was pregnant and Johnston was the father.

Sherry Johnston was released from jail in Palmer on $5,000 bail.

It’s not a condemnation or silly—it’s a highlight of how
she used the Ayers connection to Obama with innuendo (which is as tenuous as her connection to Levi’s mother) as a reason for a certain segment of Americans to justify demonizing Barack Obama.

And now she’s facing the same type of sliming. Karma.

    And another point…
when Palin started her chatter about being in pro-American places — is the behavior of her future mother in law the kind of pro America values she was extolling?

It seems that those Americans who were in places like New York were automatically exempt from being considered American in Sarah Palin’s big world view but small town values and mores as represented by Wasilla were something to be held up as beyond reproach.

And it is worthy to remember Palin’s rhetorical flourishes if she tries to bring her myopic values and principles back to be my President in 2012.

There ain’t nothing silly about calling this incurious hypocrite out every chance possible.

What’s the difference? One the one hand – a politican holds a fundraiser with someone convicted of bombing at least one building (but who admitted to bombing at least two), well after the conviction – oh and this man never admitted the behavior was wrong, or that people could have been killed. On the other, an 18 year old daughter of a politician gets pregnant by her boyfriend, and then engaged. Months later, the boyfriends mother is arrested for possession of oxycontin. Is the difference not obvious? One destroyed property and could have resulted in death very easily. One action was undertaken by the politician. The other was an action not undertaken by the politician and the action was confined to the individual concerned. Yes, Virgina, there is a difference. Those who don’t understand the difference between an association made intentionally by a politican and one that is indirectly made by family, and those who don’t understand the difference between setting off bombs and possessing oxycontin – those people are the problem, because it suggests that something is wrong with this country’s moral compass.

For the record, I don’t have a huge problem with what Obama did, since I think his so-called “association” with Ayers has been overblown and used to unfairly discredit him. However, to condemn Palin for this because of Ayers is just silly.

Oh, yes, I hate to be judgmemental, and OF COURSE NONE OF THIS is PALIN´S FAULT, but this is truly absurd. The Palin mellodrama is ENDLESS. This is not THE FIRST FAMILY of America I would like to see.
No, little Johnny, it´s not President Palin´s fault, shit happens, now I want you to be all that you an be. Just listen to what she SAYS, not what her life reflects. It´s just NOT HER FAULT…….

I guess when Sarah was whinging about Obama’s associations she never thought her own associations would be deemed suspect and shady.

But of course why would anyone worry about Sharon Johnston’s impact on Sarah Palin’s judgment and intelligence?

This is so typical of the Sarah Palin we all know. All her ‘family values’ that I do not want my kids to have anything to do with. All good Americans should get the chance to kick her in the ass for what she and John McCain tried to pull over on this nation during the election. What is next for the Palins? Tax evasion?

It must be wonderful to know a family so well based on news reports. “Mounting evidence?” You mean like the “evidence” that Sarah Palin didn’t give birth to her son?

Her son was sent to “reform school” for “issues?” I agree – he turned out so horribly. When he gets back from Iraq, we should be sure to let him know we think he’s trash.

I know nothing about Bristol Palin’s life, so I wouldn’t know about the young woman you called the family prize. But, I imagine the Palin’s are proud that their son is figting for the country, that their daughter has conducted herself with grace through a difficult period (and accepted the consequences of her actions), and that Sarah Palin was elected Governor (and maintains the highest approval rating in the country).

Again, what’s your job? Do you have the responsibility to keep yourself, and your fellow soldiers alive? Do you make decisions that could effect the basic living standards of large numbers of people?

I think not. I respect your opinion, but I hope you’ll also give others the courtesy of respect, even if you don’t agree with them.

Speaking of trash, I read your -how shall we say it-oh, yes, mindless banter; it was very insightful into the toxic abyss of the liberal mind. Since when are liberals concerned about the morality of out-of-wedlock births, or morality in general, when you libs pride yourselves on such “morally” lofty issues like infanticide. I thought the liberal movement was so much more superior to everyone else because they were “tolerant” of divergent views. Can you say “hypocrisy”? Not only can’t you say it, I doubt you can even spell it. But I digress. Your view point would be much more persuasive if you would come from a position of objectivity instead of typical liberal rage.

If I were a parent my first job would be to raise a family that was a not series of car wrecks along the way.

The oldest son was sent off to reform school/military academy in his teen years due to ‘issues’, and the prize of their family is a high school drop-out that is unwed and knocked up. While this is reported to be a first child there is mounting evidence that this might be her second.

Her husband belonged to a group that wanted to leave the United States. Sarah Palin had a witch doctor from Africa pray over her and ‘lay hands’ on her. And while running for VP Palin dragged her latest child around as it is was a cabbage patch doll.

White trash are the kindest words I can give for this bunch.

So, let me get this straight.

You think that only “white trash” families have issues with bad parents who get arrested and teenagers who have babies out of wedlock?

Let me also ask – what job is it that you have that makes you so much better than Governor Sarah Palin and her family? Palin was elected and maintains one of the highest approval ratings in the country. She’s introduced a proposed balanced budget, with major cuts that largely avoided social programs, while turning down a pay increase. Every day, a governor, whichever state they oversee, makes decisions that can effect the basic living standards of huge numbers of people. So, what’s you job?
