Remember Outdoor Friends During Frigid Weather

January 13, 2009

md1

While brutally cold temperatures and wind chills grip large segments of the nation let us not forget our outdoor friends who often find it hard to stay warm and find food during these times.  Some bird seed, old bread, or even old fruit such as apple chunks will allow for rabbits, birds, and squirrels to make it through these days and nights.  They brighten our world so much with their antics in the yard all year around, but in this type of weather need a helping hand.

Now get up from your computer and get some bread and feed the cold friends in your yard.

Thanks for the idea! I found some stale soda crackers to use as bait for the squirrels and should have one bubblin’ in oil in the popcorn popper in no time!

    Them’s good eatin’
