I Am Sorry, Rush!

March 4, 2009

Since it seems everyone needs to apologize to Rush Limbaugh, there is now an easy way to submit your mea culpa via the internet.

CNN describes the site this way.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is hosting the Web site, which allows visitors to create an apology to Limbaugh on behalf of Rep. Phil Gingrey, R-Georgia; South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford; or Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele.

“You and I both know that in reality, you simply want President Obama to fail in this time of economic collapse,” reads the fake letter of apology template. “How can I disagree with that? Please accept my sincere apologies, oh great leader of the Republican Party.”

    Fatboy,

You have a right to wish Barack to fail. Say it all you want.

I wished for Bush to fail and he did. I wished for you to fail and you have.

As every day passes exposure to your flaming talk lessens your so called power. Keep talking and hating.

    Bye Bye Fatboy.

I can only speak for myself, but never hoped that President Bush (as in ‘the presidency’) failed.

I know that a strong President is not only what we need, but what the world needs.

If memory serves me right I was only able to be arm-in-arm with him two times in 8 years…..at the start of the immigration discussions, and on the ports ‘ownership’ matter.

I wish he had been more able to lead, and thereby allowing me to perhaps support more of his ideas.

Oh, yeah, I also agreed with him on the need for a home for those who used to have Palestine. But he had never paid much attention to that issue from Day One, and so after his speech on the topic there was not much more for me to do in terms of supporting him on the issue. It was not a real concern of his.

Perhaps had we worked harder, and used his office for more than a mere election “win”, many of us would have been able to do more than just battle him.

I would like to apologize to Press Secretary Robert Gibbs for feeling Rush Limbaugh is such a big threat that he would like to shut him down. I didn’t know that Rush was that powerful. Didn’t Hugo Chavez essentially just do the same thing in Venezuela? Nationalize the Media?? Scary parellels….

Second, don’t BS me and say that the lefty Dems weren’t rooting for George W’s policies to fail…

He’s a fool. He’s a loser. He’s been divorced three times. No more to be said other than he is fat.
