Video: Why We Should Not Need To Ask Others Who We Can Marry

September 5, 2009

I have often ridiculed the idea of having the citizenry decide the civil rights of others through voter referendums.    Just this week I wrote the following in regards to Maine’s effort to keep equality.

The mere fact that anyone’s rights are put up for a vote from the rank-and-file voter is maddening.  I have always opposed granting civil rights based on if Bubba can finally see that it is OK to do so.  What a moronic way to gain civil rights!

This morning a friend sent me via email a link to a video that put my words into a short dramatic presentation.  This is prefect.
