Sunday Echoes: Archie Bunker Suicides

You know there is a lot of comedic talent and skill involved when decades after a show first aired, followed by countless re-runs, the laughs still spontaneously are produced. Smiling and laughing was my first reaction on seeing these segments again from the award-winning “All In The Family”. It just proves Carroll O’Connor was a first-rate television comedian.

Oops – 1995*
Since All in The Family ran in the 70’s and his son died in 1997, yes, I think it’s fair to say that he did those clips prior to the suicide of his son. I take it you’ve never ever seen All in The Family? I only ask, Sam, because I was shocked at the degree to which you’ve shat on this nostalgic post about an old TV show.
Oh, and in re: to your final thought — what if it’s a clown committing suicide?
I assume that Carroll O’Connor did the clips that you posted prior to the suicide of his own son, since suicide is no laughing matter.
