Sarah Palin Clearly Not Aware Of Founding Fathers, Glenn Beck Calls Her Answer “Bull Crap”

January 14, 2010

Sarah Palin again struggles with the basic elements of American History.  And even Glenn Beck sees Palin for what she is,and twice utters “bull crap” at her inability to name a favorite Founding Father.  When she needs to rebound she grabs onto George Washington for a life-line.  I would like to give her 60 seconds without interruption to define the philosophical differences between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.  You talk about ‘can’t miss TV’!!  Maybe if she had time left over (yes, I am smirking) she could comment on Ben Franklin’s views on slavery….and then if she had time…..(meaning another 50 seconds….)

There are many who understand history. I am one who does. Her answer bordered on being mildly retarded. There is no substance to this woman, and no depth to any of her answers. Even Glenn Beck knows this!

But that is not what disturbs me the most. Rather it is the glee that folks like you take in cheering on those like Palin who were always the slow learners in school. What type of a nation would we have if all the mental-midgets ran the nation?

And you look forward to that happening in November.

Might you be the one in need of a history book to understand what made our country mighty?

Why is her answer considered so stupid? Did she say something untrue or inaccurate? Is her own opinion now wrong? I mean, c’mon….no matter what she answered, she would have been criticized for being stupid or something. The media in this country has really destroyed so much of what was good or decent…I don’t expect anyone under the age of 45 to have even a remote understanding of our country’s history – it’s not taught anymore. Oh well. November will be interesting.

Unlike y’all oiver here I happen to be more or less partial to the traditional conservative values that Sarah palin is liked for. I’m so partial to the embodiment of those values that I’d be tickled to see someone who’s viewed as Sarah Palin is viewed to make a real run for the office – even if the cost of those values is ignorance.

But here’s the kicker. Sarah Palin aint that person! She’s got the ignorance AND the lack of traditional values. All she is a “gotcha!” to the lefties.

Traditional values don’t have women running the family – never mind the country. They don’t have loose daughters getting fucked (not to mention knocked up!) at 16. If they’re ignorant of modern knowledge they at least have soime deep wisdom of classical knowledge. They know what they know and knew it for decades and don;t try to craft their sentences based on polling numbers. Their ladies don;t compare themselves to pitbulls.

My LORD, what in heaven’s name does Sarah Palin offer?

Again, I’m NOT a fan of baffling ignorance and generally think that someone like Obama would be a better president (read: public figure who sometimes decides some very small stuff) than some more simple traditional person, but I think there’s a true value to the non-fad-freaky Conservative christian elder and could understand people’s support of Palin’s candidacy based on that IF SHE WAS anything remotely like that.

She’s a lunatic that the GOP just loves. That’s why that party is the laughing stock of the whole world LOL. She also thought that Africa was a country. How stupid is that lol.

You mean like the MSNBC idiot who said Palin was a moron and then went on to say Lincoln was her favorite founding father??

Wasn’t the “all of ’em” comment the same one she made when Katie Couric asked her what newspapers she read? I guess she doesn’t consider this a “gotcha” question, coming as it does from Beck.

    Glenn Beck is a liberal?

Seems he is the one who said “bull crap”.

But you are right on one thing.

Obama, myself, and most folks I know could address the question about the Founding Fathers, but then we read and did not require 5 colleges before one would give out a degree as Palin required.

I love how liberals get all worked up over Sarah Palin. It just makes my day. Obama could wax eloquently on every founding father in detail and he’d still be a lousy president.
