Video: Firefighters Enter Wisconsin State Capitol To Stand With Union Members

February 17, 2011

If there was any one moment Thursday that made everyone stop and turn, salute and cheer, it was when the firefighters came to stand alongside their fellow union members.  It was a powerful, emotional, and truly American moment.  Pictures here.

It truly was an electric moment. I was verklempt. These men and women get it! Today the teachers, state workers, snowplow drivers, tomorrow they’re expendable too.

My favorite sign, was “When we get screwed, we multiply!”

TAKE IT OUT ON PROSSER!!!!! Use this moment. Prosser is quoted as being intent on supporting the governor and repugnant majorities in the legislature. That’s not what an independent branch member is supposed to be about.
