Have Your Say About EnLighten Channel On Sirius/XM Radio Ending May 4th

April 29, 2011

UPDATE

Enlighten can be now found on channel 18.

If you like EnLighten, the southern gospel music station on Sirius/XM, and want to have your say about the end of this broadcast station on the radio……..here is what you need to do.  If you like to hear this station in the car as I do then the following information should be taken and used.

Granted, there is very little that can be done to reverse this decision at Sirius/XM.  Yet I always think it is important to let broadcasters know the concerns and likes of the listening public.  Even when the odds seem all too high….so here is what you need to do.

Next Tuesday, May 3, Sirius/XM will be removing enLighten from their satellite service and from Dish TV. It will remain, but as an online-only channel. If you are a Sirius/XM subscriber and want to see Southern Gospel still represented, let them know here:

  • Phone (Sirius): 1-888-539-7474
  • Phone (XM): 1-800-XM-RADIO or 1-877-291-5304
  • Email: customercare@siriusxm.com.
  • Mail: Mr. Scott A. Greenstein; President, Programming; Sirius XM Radio; 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 36th Floor; New York, NY 10020
  • Mail: Mr. Mel Karmazin; CEO; Sirius XM Radio; 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 36th Floor; New York, NY 10020

I have Southern Gospel Music posted on facebook. With all the trash that you have left on xm radio, I don’t think it would hurt you to keep enlighten on the air for the paying customers that want to hear it. For you to take this step and remove this station, it just proves to me, and many others out there, that we are on the right path. What is good and pure will always bother those who fear the truth.

The only reason that I have sattelite radio was to hear enlighten radio and gospel music. I had just signed up for 3 years to XM radio. I guess that I will have to cancel that subscription. I am so disappointed in the XM network for getting rid of the Gospel music programming. You are tring to rid God from everything.

Enlighten Radio on XM Satelite is the reason that I have satelite radio. It is healing for my soul in trying times and contributes to my happiness at all times. I don’t know if I will continue to subscribe to XM with this station no longer on the air.

We have 2 cars and a motorcycle with xm radios. We listen to Enlighten exclusively. I have cried over this and believe God is still able to change things. Satan is so prevalent in this day and time it is kinda scary afraid it is just one more thing we as Christians will loose. As we draw near the rapture we need all we can to help us in our worship daily all day. He is worthy to be worshiped all day and my radios have been such a blessing to me to help me have that special worship all day long. Please every one pray. God Bless

Enlighten is the station I listen to on Sirius Satellite radio 98 or 99% of the time. I have talked with my wife about turning off the satellite radio subscription effective May 4.
Sirius might get the message if enough of us did it.
    thanks
