Marcie Malszycki, GOP Aide At Wisconsin Capitol, Accused Of Voter Fraud

Who would have guessed after all the frantic energy put forth by Republicans to insure that a voter ID bill passed the Wisconsin Legislature  that it would be a Republican who would be caught in voter fraud!  Worse yet, it would be a Republican staffer who works in the State Capitol!

Well if this is not the richest story of the day!  To top things off Marcie Malszycki works for one of the cosponsors of the voter ID bill, Rep. Warren Petryk.

A Republican legislative aide is under investigation for possible vote fraud after she cast her ballot in the November election in Onalaska although she lives in Madison.

La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke said he has forwarded the report from the Onalaska Police Department to Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne to see if criminal charges are warranted against Marcie Malszycki, 30, an aide to state Rep. Warren Petryk, R-Eleva.

Records from the Government Accountability Board show Malszycki voted in Onalaska on Nov. 2, 2010, and Nov. 4, 2008, at the same time she had a home in Madison and worked at the state Capitol. Messages left with Malszycki by email, phone and Facebook weren’t returned.

Before the November election, Malszycki worked on the campaign of 92nd Assembly District candidate Dennis Clinard. The district lies just northeast of Onalaska.

Gruenke said he believes state law requires the case be handled in Dane County. Ozanne said he is researching which office has jurisdiction.

Petryk, Malszycki’s boss, is one of several co-sponsors of the controversial voter ID bill that passed the Senate Thursday.

and they didn’t even need this new joke of a law to catch her. I’m waiting for the republican businessmen to get caught in the DMV lines before the election where people are trying to get their i.d.s, and waiting in the polling places when the pollworkers have to explain the new law and argue with people. Hopefully, the repugnants, because you know their time is more valuable, will give up without voting. I’ve worked at polling places from a one room town hall near Green Bay, to a several thousand vote precinct in Madison, and this is a solution in search of a problem! and a costly solution at that, but oh yeah, Wanker & Co. just found another 600 million to spend on this crap and more tax breaks for his contributors and appointees.
