Steve Cochran Back On Chicago Radio, Where He Belongs!
This is great news for fans of Steve Cochran.
Yes, WIND can be heard in Madison, though everything offered on that station is not up to the broadcasting standards many of us have. I am sure that will change somewhat with Cochran behind the mic.
Former WGN-AM star Steve Cochran has officially joined WIND-AM as a host for a new two-hour drive-time radio show, which will air weekdays from 5:00pm-7:00pm. News of the impending deal was first broken soon after midnight by Time Out Chicago media writer Robert Feder.
Steve Cochran’s first day on the air on WIND-AM has yet to be determined, but the station is looking to have it start as early as mid-September or possibly at the beginning of October.

give Steve Cochran a red rubber nose and some giant shoes ,cause he is a clown ! get him off the air ?
Ferrell,
Yes, but I like Steve, and think that he loves Chicago, and will be a breath of fresh air…..though I still recall WIND when Steve King was there….the good ole days.
You do realize WIND is kind of conservative? They are putting him between Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt.
