When Little Rich Boys (Mitt Romney) Do Not Get Their Way It Is Brutal

November 9, 2012

Mitt Romney was never the nice man that he wanted America to think he was, and certainly never had the policy goals that this nation needs.  It is rather telling that on the last day of his campaign the voters alerted him to the latter, and he demonstrated the former for all to know.

This is just not the way to deal with campaign staffers who work hard, and are as deflated as the candidate when a defeat is handed out from the voters.

In the harsh light of reality for Republicans Mitt Romney lost.  Soundly lost, in fact.

Yet the folks who work tirelessly while giving up sleep and ‘a life’ for the campaign deserve to be treated with some dignity and respect.  Mr. Money Bags and Cayman Island man Mitt Romney could have allowed the men and women who needed one more cab ride home after an exhausting and emotionally draining day that last small token.

But no.

There is a continued framework that is to run for two years to make sure all the bills get paid from the campaign, and a cab ride was not going to break the bank.

From the moment Mitt Romney stepped off stage Tuesday night, having just delivered a brief concession speech he wrote only that evening, the massive infrastructure surrounding his campaign quickly began to disassemble itself.

Aides taking cabs home late that night got rude awakenings when they found the credit cards linked to the campaign no longer worked.

I am not gloating—not once have I done so since Election Day. I merely stated a fact, and having been a campaign worker, know something about wanting to be treated fairly. I also want to to note that the money Kerry married into was earned without need to blush or hide your head—Bain is one of the reaons Mitt was never able to tell the whole story of his life to the nation, and one reason he lost. Furthermore, what is ‘Tea Party Warrior’ so excited about since Mittens was the last thing one would ever call ‘one of your kind’.

I agree that those campaign workers were treated badly, but they are just lucky they had not worked decades for a company bought out by Bain Capitol.

Poor losers are bad, poor winners are even worse, and sadly you are a poor winner!
Obama won, and so will be supported as our president. I can’t imagine how insufferable you would have been if Romney won.

Don’t you think it’s about time to quit gloating and find someone else to demean ?

Did you feel the same way when John Kerry was the Democrat nominee. Afterall, he has way more money then Romney. The difference is Kerry maried into his money, while Romney earned his.
