Pull on your favorite sweater, grab a book, make some hot chocolate, and review those movies yet to be watched on the DVR because this will be a weekend to get cozy and stay inside.
A very strong blast of frigid air is headed our way on howling northerly winds this weekend. This could again be a very strong and unusual weather maker. This weekend it is a high pressure system that will dominate outside, as opposed to the low pressure last weekend that made for all sorts of weather related stories across this region of the country. The National Weather Service forecast said the low temperature Saturday night could drop down to 9, so coupled with a 5 to 15 mph wind, the wind chill factor would make it feel like 5 below zero to 13 below zero.
