Elvis Presley Compared To Old Water Mains In Madison

I had to smile last night while watching the local news.

“The analogy that I have used is we all remember what Elvis looked like in the 50’s and we saw that deterioration  in the 70’s, image what Elvis would look like today and you can understand why this type of pipe needs to be replaced.”

That was the ending portion of a report from Channel 3 in Madison concerning why residents can expect a significant increase in their future water bills as the city’s water utility ramps up plans to replace roughly half of the water mains in its system.

All I can add is never worry about the bad press, only hope they spell your name correctly.
