C-SPAN To Beat FOX News For First Gathering Of GOP Presidential Candidates

C-SPAN has announced a Republican candidates forum to be held in New Hampshire on Aug. 3, three days before Fox News holds its first GOP debate in Cleveland.

The national televised forum, hosted by C-SPAN and the New Hampshire Union Leader, is inviting all 17 GOP presidential hopefuls to participate. Thus far, the confirmations of six candidates have been submitted including Gov. Chris Christie, Ben Carson, Gov. John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, Sen. Lindsey Graham and former Gov. George Pataki. It is not included among the nine sanctioned debates approved by the RNC.
