Rand Paul To Use Abortion To Gum Up Transportation Bill

July 17, 2015

There was a time when members of congress from all parts of the nation could agree on at least one issue.  Transportation projects and the means to fund them.

But like so much else that has become dysfunctional in Washington the roads and bridges that once were bi-partisan projects are now just one more partisan firestorm.  This year that tension is going to grow even more so as one of the Republican presidential candidates who has seen his poll numbers fall will make a spectacle designed to bolster his conservative credentials at the expense of the nation’s roads, and those who use them.

Senator Rand Paul has proven to be a joke in the past where his alienating of Democrats is only rivaled by his dislike from members of his own party.  Now the man who looks like he has pubic hair on his head will take steam away from transportation needs to fight over…………abortion.

The Kentucky Republican’s presidential campaign said Rand would be seeking an amendment vote on blocking federal funding for Planned Parenthood next week.  That will help crumbling bridges in Missouri and new stretches of pavement in Pennsylvania.

The problem with the Senate is that it has no germaneness requirement such as the House has so the Republican with no hope of winning any state primary in 2016 will stir things up, slow things down, and in the end win nothing but the ill will of those who are truly seeking a road bill.

I am still waiting to hear where the guns he used came from and how he obtained them–then I will write my post. You can be assured of that.

I guess I am not surprised. When a white man shoots up a black church or a cop has to shot a black man to keep him from killing you write article after article about the dead, the evil of guns and on and on. But let an Islamic terrorist shoot 4 US Marines and not a peep out of you after all don’t dare up set those who follow a false prophet that would be insensitive, and we all know that we don’t want to upset Mohammad and the boys .But its nice to see you took time to write about the butcher shop called Planned Parenthood.
