FOX News Debate: No “Rigorous Attempt To Make Sure All Ten Candidates Get Equal Time To Speak”

August 2, 2015

Excitement mounts as the week gets underway for the first GOP presidential debate.   The clown car is coming nearer–its doors about to open.

What about the rules for the debate?

“According to two people familiar with the network’s plans, candidates will get one minute to answer each question addressed to them by moderators Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier during the program, which begins at 9 p.m. Eastern time on August 6.”

“Candidates who are called upon will be given only 30 seconds for rebuttals. If a candidate’s name is invoked during someone else’s answer to a question, that candidate will get a chance to respond for a length of time at the moderator’s discretion. The campaign of one leading candidate believes after communications with Fox executives that there will not be a rigorous attempt to make sure all ten candidates get equal time to speak.”

    pk,

Trump will not win the nomination. Period.

My point is that with 16 other GOP candidates he is the one making the news and in the lead and that does speak to what the others can not deliver for the base to get excited about.

Deke I respect your political knowledge and enjoy your blog but you can’t honestly believe that Trump has any kind of chance to win the nomination now do you?

One has to ask how pathetic and weak the GOP candidates are if Trump is the one leading the field?!!

Looking forward to the Democrats debate…oh wait they have none scheduled and aren’t even talking about them. With the weak candidates they have I can understand why they are hiding them.

Maybe their time allotments are proportional to their campaign war chests……
