Watch Live Video Of Historic Hurricane Patricia From Mexican Coastline Near Manzanillo

YouTube has set up a live feed from a camera on the Mexican coastline complete with audio near Manzanillo which you can access by clicking here.  Conditions are likely to go downhill there very quickly.   This is also the area–south of the probably point of landfall for Hurricane Patricia—which may be subjected to the most horrific storm surge.  (Storm surges are domes of water swept over a coastline by the hurricane’s “onshore” winds.  Those winds literally pile water against the coast.  Storm surges are among the most deadly aspects of a hurricane.

    We could all learn a lesson from the Mexicans here. Bad things do happen to good people, and the people of Mexico responded accordingly. Result? Cat-5 hurricane with virtually no fatalities. God bless ’em–they’ve earned this.
