Did You Hear The BOOM In Madison?

January 17, 2016

At roughly 12:20 P.M. a loud underground boom was heard and more to the point felt at our home on Madison’s isthmus.   Pictures shook and glassware rattled in the china hutch. The noise actually came up through our bodies as we sat in chairs at our computers.  We looked out the windows for a car crash or if something exploded.  I called a neighbor on the other side of the street and a few houses away to discover that the large noise was also experienced there.

This must have been one of those ‘frost-quakes’ that have been recently reported in the news.  I always wondered what one might sound like and now we know.  One more thing off my bucket-list.

Only because Plan B was closed did we rule them out.

You sure it wasn’t Plan B?
