Tonight’s (July18th) Speakers At 2016 Republican Convention

July 18, 2016

I am sure Scot Baio will move the ratings meter!  I just can not fathom that this odd line-up will be setting the nation ablaze with excitement or interest. The only importance for Wisconsin will be a couple speakers from our state.
Please note: The speakers below are part of the prime-time program, which will follow Monday afternoon’s Convention Business Session.

Badgerbabe–well, Joni Ernst (she of “Joni’s Roast N’ Ride N’ Walker Worship” fame) is speaking . Sad proof that Hawkeyes aren’t much more clever than we Badgers after all.

    My thoughts………………..
    • Antonio Sabato Jr. is dreamy, but I’ve already heard him on Faux News trying to explain his support of trump. Pretty package, but it rattles when you shake it.
    • When will the dumb asses in Milwaukee vote David Clarke out in the effin’ DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY!!!! Speculation is that Clarke is angling for a federal appointment if Trump wins. Maybe head of Homeland Security or Supreme Court Justice????
    • Steve King, former chief of the Wis. Repugnant Party, failed U.S. Senate candidate and thug who manhandled Martha Mitchell to keep her from talking to the press about the Watergate scandal ( King is the Chairman of the RNC’s Standing Committee on Arrangements and welcomed the delegates this afternoon (I’m sure 3 or 4 were listening). He noted that the last time the Repugnants met in Cleveland was in 1936 (How’d that work out for ya Steverino?) and recited the poor shape the country was in, 16% unemployement, the dust bowl, etc., and how much that resembles the country today after 7 ½ years of Obama. Left unsaid was the shape of the country that the Repugnant administrations and their policies left FDR and BO with the Great Depression and Great Recession to clean up. Smarmy idget.

Politically speaking that night of the Dem. convention will move the needle for my party. That is–after all what these conventions are about. Since Trump does not understand that fact and could not get top party members to even attend let alone speak at his nomination speaks volumes about this fall.

At next week’s Democrat Convention, speakers will include the mothers of Sandra Bland, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and others of black men who died (while resisting arrest, breaking the law, or in the case of Trayvon, not killed by a cop at all) in a “Mothers of the Movement” evening. THE MOVEMENT. You know, the one that is covered in the blood of executed police officers.

Conclusion: The Democrats openly embrace the “movement” of cop-killers

Thank you for the continued service of providing GOP convention speakers. Ron Johnson will speak but will not attend or be at the convention for more than his speech. One name that IS missing — Glenn Grothmann (sp?). So much for the conventional wisdom that this is HIS kind of crowd….
