Burning Cars, Three Businesses In Flames, Following Police Shooting In Milwaukee

August 14, 2016

Milwaukee is tense and needless violence from rioting is taking place tonight following a police shooting that killed a suspect with a stolen gun and hundreds of rounds of ammo.  Tonight a gas station was set on fire and then conditions from those with weapons made it too dangerous for the fire department to respond in a timely fashion. Reports have two other places of business up in flames–that seems the smart response…..take out places where people work and make money. Bus shelters have been thrown into the street. This is simply insanity.   Open some tear gas and clear out the area and bring order to the chaos.

I was watching the live feed online last night and noticed how close family homes were to one of the fires as the helicopter cam was providing coverage. It was simply horrifying.

You know when they decide they want to riot the cops should just step back and allow them to ruin their neighborhoods. If this would happen maybe people in those neighborhoods would stand up to the thugs who are doing it and say enough is enough.

I want to know why the street criminals are never charged – burning property, looting merch, throwing objects? I see all the time, ppl are arrested, then later released. If no one ever pays for those criminal acts, how does that deter others from similar actions? Too often protesting gets blurred with rioting. One’s legal, the other’s NOT.

It’s hard for me to understand, when ppl are stopped by police…and they take off running or take off driving a car…then when they are eventually stopped by supposedly “over aggressive” police officers…everyone complains at the amt of force used, sometimes leading to runners being shot. I always say, you brought it on yourself. Why not comply? Poor decision making doesn’t end well.

Some police forces seem to be too intimidated to act…Like you said tear gas, smoke, do what it takes to bring order.
