Donald Trump Owns Stock In Dakota Access Pipeline Company
Like so many others I too strongly support the fight Native Americans are making regarding the proposed pipeline running across their land in the Dakotas. While there are many legal hurdles and protests to come in this ongoing matter one thing is most clear.
Donald Trump has been, and remains an investor in the energy company at the heart of this controversy.
It should come as no surprise that the Trump team has said the pipeline is a project they support. What might not be so well known by the general public, however, is that Trump’s financial disclosure forms show that in May he owned between $15,000 and $50,000 in stock in Energy Transfer Partners. That amount is down from the year prior, when records show that Trump had between $500,000 and $1 million invested in the company.
Seems like Trump is pretending to be Officer Barbrady in South Park with the suggestion that there is nothing at all improper with his stock plan and the fact he can direct policy on the pipeline.
“Okay move along, move along people, there’s nothing to see here!
