More Evidence Donald Trump Factually Wrong

January 14, 2017

One could devote a blog to nothing but correcting the outright lies and blunders that Donald Trump insists on making.  For instance this would be today’s entry.

In one of his seemingly uncontrolled Twitter sessions Trump wrote that Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to……mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!

The facts however show quite the opposite.

Say what you want about Lewis, but “all talk, talk, talk — no action or results” isn’t the way most people describe a guy who bled and was jailed in the struggle for civil rights.

Also, his district isn’t falling apart. Lewis has represented the tony Buckhead section of Atlanta for years — he now splits it with another lawmaker — and he represents Emory University and some of the city’s most rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods.

So here he have yet again another clear and undisputed example of Trump lying and trying to present pure bunk for the most uneducated among his followers to believe.

Now that is sad!

Some of us have known for some time that Mr. tRump has a tenuous relationship with the facts and truth. The more he decries “false facts” (Yes, he said that.) and “inaccuracies” about his background, his alleged credentials, and even the policies he supposedly supports, the guiltier he is at creating and feeding the growing mountain of disinformation that is drowning out accurate reporting — certainly any reporting and reporters that nick his very thin skin.
