“Radio Days” Rekindles Broadcasting Magic

April 27, 2017

For the (…th) time I watched one of my favorite movies, Radio Days.  This film will make you smile whether you lived in the era when countless radio comedies and dramas were a daily event, or you are a younger fan of the product they created.   A most satisfying look back when radio started earning its reputation as the most intimate medium—a foundation which I still know to be true.  Woody Allen’s writing and beautifully crafted film remains one that speaks to the magic of the radio shows and the way they impacted the nation.  This one is made for the whole family of radio lovers.
