President Trump tweeted this morning that the New York Democratic Senator Gillibrand “would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them).”
Gillibrand, who a day earlier had called for an investigation of the sexual misconduct allegations against Trump and said he should resign, replied directly to the president on Twitter. “You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office,” she wrote.
Others who condemned Trump’s tweet included former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson, “BBC World News America” anchor Katty Kay, and Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
The slimy sexist characteristics from Trump are on full display. The women who have accused him of sexual groping and harassment are more powerful today due to the reaction of the perv in the White House.
